Terra Madre Day
Terra Madre Day is going to be a brilliant celebration of local food that is good, clean and fair. But to have maximum effect we need photographers recording the various Eat-Ins. More importantly, we need those photos sent to us for uploading on our website, sending to Slow Food, and distributing to the media.
If you would like to be a Terra Madre Day photographer, please follow this guide:
-check to see where the nearest Terra Madre Day Eat-In is being held and the times it is running (click on the links from the Terra Madre Day page)
-take some home-prepared food to eat there - you’ll be participating as well!
-when you arrive make contact with the host to let them know you’re there
-please ask participants if you can take their photograph - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - we don’t want any legal hassles
-record the names of the subjects of your photographs (and preferably the ages of the children)
-email the best photographs - five or six - to our e-mail address together with a description of where the Eat-In was held and highlights of the event
-please limit the size of each photograph to under 200 KB
-photographs will be up-loaded in the days following Terra Madre Day
